Mysterious Lotus Casebook

Young martial arts leader Li Xiangyi confronts his rival Di Feisheng but is poisoned and vanishes into the sea. Ten years later, Fang Duobing, heir to Tianji Villa, becomes an investigator and meets wandering doctor Li Lianhua.

Fang is tricked by Li during a strange case of a revived corpse but continues his mission, investigating the suspicious death of Lingshan Sect’s leader with Li’s unexpected help.

Fang reveals he’s Shan Gudao’s nephew, once a disciple of Li Xiangyi. Li Lianhua secretly searches for Shan’s remains, and the two cross paths again during a bizarre murder at a festival inn.

Lady Yu Hongzhu accuses Li Lianhua of murder. Fang, as an investigator, teams up with him to uncover why a body was mysteriously sealed in a box.

The murder case closes, but Li spots Di Feisheng alive. Di reclaims leadership of the Golden Kite Alliance, seeking a legendary medicine to restore his power.

Seven headless corpses surface, leading Li and Fang to infiltrate a tomb-raiders’ gathering to investigate a deadly treasure hunt.

Li unmasks a killer, revealing the headless corpses as a vanished gang from a decade ago. The search for the sacred “Guanyin’s Tears” continues.

The youth who drank Guanyin’s Tears is revealed as Di Feisheng. Li sabotages the elixir, forcing Di into an uneasy alliance with him and Fang.
