An Incurable Case of Love

When high schooler Nanase struggles to help a woman who has collapsed, a doctor comes to the rescue. Years later, she becomes a nurse at his hospital.

A starry-eyed Nanase fantasizes about what her new neighbor might be like outside work. Later, she officially joins the Cardiology department.

Kisugi plays Cupid and encourages Tendo to watch over Nanase as she recovers. But after returning to work, she struggles with a basic nursing task.

Just as Nanase is gaining confidence as a cardiology nurse, a heart failure emergency at work reminds her of just how much more she has to learn.

A head-over-heels Nanase wants to tell everyone about her new boyfriend, but Tendo expects clear boundaries between his professional and private life.

Worried about Tendo attending an out-of-town event with a beautiful surgeon resembling his lost love, Nanase decides to follow the pair to Osaka.

Nanase feels insecure and wonders how Tendo could ever choose her over someone like Miori. Meanwhile, a new VIP patient wants Nanase all to himself.

Tendo is removed from Anri's surgical team due to Kamijo's lawsuit. Desperate to help Anri, Nanase speaks to Kamijo, who gives her an ultimatum.
